In modern life, because of the busy work, people begin to pay less and less attention to breakfast. There are even a lot of people who always go to work without having breakfast. In fact, breakfast is the most important meal during the whole day. If you do not eat breakfast for a long-term, it may cause serious harms on the body.
First of all, it may make you fat. Many people think that if they don't eat breakfast, it can help them reduce weight. In fact, such an idea is not correct. According to nutrition scientists, even if you do not eat breakfast, it still can not promote the consumption of fat, because once the human body realizes nutrition deficiency, it will firstly consume carbohydrates and protein, but not fat. What's worse, if you don't eat breakfast, it will make you eat more food at lunch, which will cause difficulty in digestion and absorption. In such a case, the excessive fat will be accumulated in the body and gradually make you fat.
Secondly, it will lead to constipation. If you eat three meals regularly every day, the human body will naturally form gastrocolic reflex, which is beneficial to the detoxification of the body. On the contrary, if you always do not have breakfast, it may cause disorders of gastrocolic reflex, and then lead to constipation. If the body can not expel of the toxins, the excessive toxins will accumulate inside the body, and then lead to many symptoms such as acne.
Thirdly, it will make people easily grow old. Breakfast plays an important role in providing the energy and nutrients needed by human body during the whole day. If you don't eat breakfast, the human body has to consume the glycogen and protein which are stored in the body. As time passes, it will cause the skin dryness, wrinkle and anemia, and accelerate human aging. If it is serious, it can even cause nutritional deficiency.
